„Krayrechen“ Boulevard in Stara Zagora has acquired a new modern look after the reconstruction of its lighting system.

The Sub-project was completed by EL KONTROL within the framework of a new long-term Project for maintenance of the street lighting in Stara Zagora Municipality, which we started in August this year.

Project includes maintenance and reconstruction of the street lighting in all settlements in the Municipality of Stara Zagora, as well as construction of new lighting installations, over a three-years period.

In the end of May, 2019 was finished one of the most significant projects implemented recently by EL KONTROL – The Rehabilitation of 110 kV Switchyard at 400/220/110 kV Substation Maritsa-iztok.
Electrical Substation Maritsa-iztok is operated and maintained by Electricity System Operator EAD, and the rehabilitation of 110 kV Switchyard has been part of the Contractor's investment program related to 2012-2022 Network development plan.

That is the second major project we execute on the territory of the substation. It operates with three distribution Switchyards - 400 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV. It was EL KONTROL who implemented the electrical part of the new 400 kV Switchyard in 2010.

The future of Automation was presented on 29th May, 2019 in Stara Zagora. The event was part of a series of seminars, organized by the Digital Industries Division of Siemens Bulgaria in five of the biggest towns in Bulgaria. EL KONTROL was partner and host of TIA Portal Innovation Tour 2019 in Stara Zagora.

The Demo-truck SIRIUS visited EL KONTROL in Stara Zagora and represented wide range of products by SIEMENS in the area of industrial control. The stand exhibited the three leading conceptions for automation, power distribution, reliability and safety: Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), Totally Integrated Power (TIP) and Safety Integrated.
