Project description
European financing: Project ‘Modernization and development of sustainable public transport in the town of Stara Zagora’, Contract BG161PO001/1.5-03/2011/003, Grant Nr. BG161PO001/1.5-03/2011 ‘Support for integrated public transport in the five biggest towns’ of the Operative program ‘Regional development 2007 – 2013’.
Rehabilitation of rectifier stations (RS) as a component of the Project for modernization and development of sustainable public transport in the town of Stara Zagora envisages to improve reliability of the public transport power supply. The aim is to be guaranteed protection of the electrical equipment, the overhead contact network (OCN), the power supply cables, and the trolley buses. Contract includes elaboration of updated detailed design, submission of all design documentation, and further rehabilitation of RS-1, RS-2, RS-3, RS-4, and RS-5.
Contractor of the Project is Consortium DZZD EL KONTROL 2014, EL KONTROL being a legal party of it.
Activities
At Design stage a two-parted detailed design is elaborated, including:
Rehabilitation of RS-1, RS-2, RS-3, and RS-5:
- Electrical revision of 20 kV MV distribution device
- Electric installation, power supply installation, and lighting installation
- Heating and ventilation system
- Technology of project implementation
- Health and safety plan
- Fire protection.
Rehabilitation of RS-4:
- Electrical revision of 20 kV MV distribution device
- Electric installation, power supply installation, and lighting installation
- Heating and ventilation system
- Construction part: roof
- Water supply and sewerage installation
- Technology of project implementation
- Health and safety plan
- Fire protection.
- Construction stage of the Project includes implementation of the construction and electrical works set in the detailed design.
Rehabilitation of RS-1, RS-2, RS-3, and RS-5:
- Substitution of 20 kV switchgear – dismantling of existing equipment, delivery and installation of new equipment, materials, personal protective means;
- Restore of sound-and-visual signalization system of the auxiliary power supply switchboard
- Restore of missing plates
- Restore of the spare sectional automatic device on carrier
- Restore of missing knife disconnectors
- Restore of relay protection, full test-run, measuring and control
- Restore of lighting installation in Machine room
- Air-conditioning installation in premise on-duty.
Rehabilitation of RS-4:
- Restore of rectifier-1 and rectifier-2
- Restore of missing plates
- Restore of relay protection, full test-run, measuring and control
- Repair of flat, tin roof
- Restore of water supply and sewerage installation beside RS-4 building
- Air-conditioning installation in premise on-duty.
