Reconstruction of 110 kV Switchyard in 110/20 kV S/st Lovech is assigned to the partnership DZZD Podstancii-2020 in which EL KONTROL is a partner company. According to an Agreement between the partners execution of the project is undertaken by EL KONTROL EOOD.
110 kV Switchyard is being reconstructed, in order to be restored its operational condition by changing the scheme from single busbar system to single sectioned busbar system, and to be enabled connection of additional 110 kV feeders.
Project envisages construction of metering bays to each of the two sections of 110 kV busbar system; construction of sectioning bay; reconstruction of two existing 110/20 kV transformer connections; reconstruction of four 110 kV feeder bays; dismantle of all existing equipment and installation of new disconnectors, circuit breakers, measuring transformers. Dismantle of the equipment includes demolition and dismantle of existing reinforced gate structures, reinforced support structures, steel structures and concrete foundations. Installation of new equipment includes construction of new concrete foundations, steel gate structures, support structures, pipe network, cable ditches.
Furthermore, project includes execution of vertical planning, construction of fences, construction of concrete foundations and bases for power transformers, construction of roads and passages inside the switchyard, construction of oil-collection pit and drainage.
Secondary switching activities: dismantle of existing control switchboards in the switchyard and control room; dismantle of control cables; delivery and installation of new control panels in the switchyard, control-relay panels, AC and DC auxiliary panels, annunciator system panel in Control room; delivery, laying and connection of control cables.
Scope of activities includes also construction of fire alarm installation, video surveillance, alarm and security system, earthing installation, lightning protection installation; local, emergency and security lighting.
After completion of all construction activities control tests will be performed and the reconstructed switchyard will be put into operation.
