EL KONTROL started works for Repair of concrete foundations of the equipment in 110 kV Switchyard of 400 kV Burgas Substation.

This order is a part of the Project for rehabilitation and enlargement of 400 kV Burgas Substation, and it has been awarded to EL KONTROL by Power System Operator EAD.

The scope of activities includes erection of concrete tables and foundations for the equipment in 110 kV Switchyard, and construction of tubular grid of steel conduits.

A “Motor-show-Tour” took place on 14.09.2011 with demo truck “Industrial controls on tour” of SIEMENS - Germany!

Visitors had the opportunity to meet the large range of industrial products in the field of Industrial commutation equipment, part of the three major concepts for automation, power distribution, reliability and safety – Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), Totally Integrated Power (TIP) and Safety Integrated.

On Sunday, June 26th, The Prime Minister – Mr. Boyko Borisov lead the opening ceremony of the first stage of erection of substation “Helios” 110/20 kV which is meant to supply the “Slanchev brayg” resort with electricity.

Project has been assigned by NEC EAD as a client, ABB Bulgaria as the main executor and EL KONTROL as a subcontractor performing construction and erection works as well as commissioning. 

"With the millions of BGNs invested in rehabilitation of the electric transmission network and the new substation, we can guarantee the normal power supply in Slanchev bray and its surroundings", said the Prime Minister - Borisov.

A Report No 2 opening the construction activities on Substation “Helios 110/20 KV” near the town of Slanchev bryag was signed on 11 April, 2011. Project has been assigned by NEC EAD as a client, ABB Bulgaria as the main executor and EL KONTROL as a subcontractor performing construction and erection works as well as commissioning.

On 10.05.2011 a seminar called TIA Portal Innovation Tour has been brought by the Siemens department of industrial automation at the building of EL KONTROL EOOD.

The Siemens new engineering platform TIA Portal has been presented for the first time in Central and Eastern Europe.
