We have officially launched a long-awaited project - the construction of EL KONTROL's new production facility.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks a symbolic beginning and a new chapter in the history of a company that has been working, growing, and developing in Stara Zagora for 27 years.
EL KONTROL is among the companies honored with a special award for economic development and social responsibility, personally presented by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Yotova, at a ceremony organized by the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) in Stara Zagora.

The company was awarded by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce AHK Bulgarien (German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce) in the category "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Focused on Innovation." With this award, AHK Bulgarien recognizes companies that, through their innovativeness, commitment, and sustainable approach, contribute to the development of German-Bulgarian economic relations.
EL KONTROL is one of the key Bulgarian companies that Westinghouse Electric Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with this week. The MoU concerns joint participation in the Project for construction of AP1000 reactors at the Kozloduy NPP - New Build EAD site, and other projects in the region.
This week at the Internships exhibitions, we had interesting meetings with students from the Technical University of Sofia, the Faculty Plovdiv and the Faculty Sliven.
We also visited the Technical University Gabrovo, and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Yambol at the Trakia University, Stara Zagora. Our team was kindly welcomed to introduce the company EL KONTROL to the young electrical professionals.
